Project Portfolio Management and Agile Leadership will be the focus topics.  We have two dynamic speakers who’ll be working together to address these challenges that we face today … too many ideas not enough time, constantly changing priorities, lack of resources, and unclarity about the status of Projects.

PART 1):  Managing Change and Uncertainty With Project Portfolio Management  


SYNOPSIS:  Managing change and uncertainty requires a constant and close alignment between the operational execution of project, the external environment, strategy and available resources. Project Portfolio Management is a proven and practical approach to achieve this alignment and facilitate regular executive conversations about projects and their contribution to the success of an organization.
 

PART 2):  Agile Leadership – Scaling Agility From Projects to Organizations  


SYNOPSIS: With agility already well established and successful in the project management domain, more and more organizations now want to scale and implement agility more broadly across the entire organization. In doing so, they often experience challenges and resistance due to a missing agile mindset and culture requiring a new type of agile leadership to overcome. This talk looks at the broader context of agile leadership from an organizational and project perspective and explores the leadership capabilities, mindset and culture needed to successfully implement agile initiatives and transformations on an organizational level.

WALTER SEDLACEK, MSc, MBA, PMP
Senior Consultant – next level consulting

PROFILE:  Walter Sedlacek is a IT project and program manager of large change and process re-engineering initiatives in the IT and telecommunications industries. He has implemented PMOs and organization-wide project management competencies as CIO and business manager in EMEA and Asia working for companies like T-Systems and GM.
